I am saddened to learn of Bill's death. I knew him for a short time through a mutual friend of ours, Mike Fosburg. I feel sad he had to suffer with cancer as he loved life. I'm sure he has "touched "alot of people, and his wife and children should take comfort knowing that he was a great man and won't be forgotten. Peace Bill.

My deepest condolences to Bill's family; I know you will miss him terribly. Everyone here at the Tuttle Library so enjoyed the conversation/presentation with Bill and Vicki last fall and our community thoroughly enjoys his books.

Wow! Just browsing to double check when the latest was due and learned of Mr. Tapply's passing. I had planned on meeting him through a mutual friend and get all my first editions signed but most importantly telling him how much enjoyment his books have brought me. As with others, I feel as though I have lost a good friend and my condolences go out to you.
