Mr. Tapply was one of my alltime favorite teachers. A gem from his class: "A signed copy of one of my books makes a great present!" - too funny!

I will miss cruising through BN looking for his latest Brady/Stoney book. I am truly sad this weekend :(

Just heard the news yesterday - how fitting I was on the river when I learned of Bill's death. I feel blessed beyond words that I experienced the gift of calling Bill my friend; he also served as mentor and gentle-prodder for my writing. Bill was, indeed, generous of time and talent, and all of the Hooked on a Cure crowd will miss him. We wish you Godspeed on your next great adventure dear friend!
