Mr. Tapply will be sorely missed in the Mystery community. His books were well written and characters seemed real. I personally have read all his books and will miss not having his next book coming out. My regards to his family during this hard time for them.

HI, BILL,
I JUST FINISHED MY MESSAGE IN THE GUEST BOOK AND THEN IT SAID "TRY AGAIN" SO EITHER YOU'LL SEE THIS TWICE OR ONCE OR PERHAPS NOT AT ALL.
I BECAME A FAN WHEN I WAS A STAMP COLLECTOR AND FOUND "DUTCH BLUE ERROR" AT THE LIBRARY. LOVED IT. AND JOINED MYSTERY GUILD TO BUY THE OTHER BOOKS IN THE BRADY COYNE SERIES.
I WAS DISAPPOINTED WHEN I REALIZED YOU WERE GOING BACK TO STONEY CALHOUN SINCE I HAD NOT READ THE FIRST TWO BOOKS IN THAT SERIES. (I LIKE TO GET SEVERAL IN A SERIES AT A TIME AND KEEP GOING). I GOT THE FIRST TWO BOOKS FEATURING STONEY AND HAVE JUST FINISHED THE SECOND ONE. THANK YOU FOR CREATING BOTH BRADY AND STONEY.
I AM A RETIRED HISTORY INSTRUCTOR AND LIBRARIAN ON THE COLLEGE LEVEL, TURNED 70 THIS YEAR AND RECENTLY I WAS CALLED A "GRUMPY OLD WOMAN." I WAS SHOCKED. AND HURT. "GRUMPY" I COULD LIVE WITH SINCE I WAS TRYING TO KEEP FROM BEING KNOCKED DOWN AT MY FAVORITE VEGAS CASINO(I USE A WALKER AND HAVE FOR THE PAST 27 YEARS BECAUSE OF CEREBRAL PALSY, NO BIG DEAL)
AND PROBABLY HARDER TO HANDLE IS THAT I HAVE VISION PROBLEMS SINCE 2003 BECAUSE OF A SHINGLES ATTACK.
SO I APPRECIATE THE BOOKS IN LARGE PRINT.
GOD BLESS YOU IN YOUR WORK.

We fell in love with the late Philip R Craig's books from day one. That you and he could work seamlessly on those 3 books endured us to you. In One-Way Ticket, you have kept JW Jackson alive. You are a good man. Our goal now is to read all of the other Brady Coyne novels, except Out Cold which was truly savored!

Reading Stoney stories reminded me of the old greek plays. Great new twist on "Deus ex machina."

At college, a package arrived in the mail from my father, who rarely sends me things. There was no note or explanation, but it contained a copy of Bitch Creek. It sat on my shelf for about two weeks, but when I began it, I swallowed it in a solid gulp in one day and half of a night. Grey Ghost was devoured in a similar fashion the same week, and I am now impatiently but excitedly awaiting Dark Tiger. This is hands-down one of the best mystery series I've read, and has been a loved recommendation even by friends who claim not to like mysteries.
Waiting for Dark Tiger, I have been working through the Brady Coyne series, but I'm soon going to run out. Sometimes, being able to read this fast is a curse!
