I am so sorry to read of Mr. Tapply's passing. My sincerest condolences to his family. I have read and re-read his books and enjoyed them all. He had a wonderful talent and will be greatly missed. Thank you for sharing his last writings.

Today, I dound out Mr Tapply has passed on and am saddened. I was lucky enough to discover his books this year, and as I read them I passed them on to my 2 daughters and we ALL love his wonderful stories, and I for one, pictured myself in those wonderful places, casting flies over the water, even tho' I don't fish ! Thank you, Bill.

It is very sad to think that my favorite mystery writer is gone. I loved his writing style and his characters. What will happen to Brady and Alex? What about Henry? One measure of Tapply's success is that he made me care about people who don't exist.
