Bill leaves a big empty space in this crazy world. He helped me escape it for countless hours. God bless him.

Sad to hear of Bill's passing. He was my instructor in a Writer's Digest course years ago and got me a great start on a novel.had to set the work aside during my wife's long illness, but that was sadly resolved this spring. I've resumed the work and had been looking forward to Bill's critique. Condolences are inadequate (I know).but memories have a life of their own.

Bill, may your spirit endure forever and inspire other beings in which it resides. For me, who followed behind you on the LHS basketball team, the sight of one of your jump shots settling gently into the net was an inspiration.

I only recently discovered William Tapply through Bitch Creek. I am glad I did. I've just finished Hell Bent. Thank you Sir.

So VERY sorry to hear of Bill's death. I knew him from when he was a neighbor and friend in Concord, MA. I have read and enjoyed all his books. Always meant to write to him via his website. My heart goes out to his family, friends, and loves. He will live on forever as his stories were so real, like Bill.
