I just put in an order for a copy of Dark Tiger and thought I'd check the site for news of a Brady Coyne novel. The news of Mr. Tapply's passing was a shock.
When you've read someone's work for twenty-something years, you begin to feel like you know them

Along with so many others, I was shocked to read the website and learn of Bill's passing. I've recently moved to Mass. and was hoping to have him sign my Brady Coyne books. His death, especially on top of Phil Craig's, is such a great loss. My prayers go to all the family.

Just saw the news about Bill in the Clark Alum News. Very sad, indeed. Discovered and delighted in his works and was then thrilled to learn of his Clark connection. He was very kind and helpful when we communicated by email. I will miss him, Brady and the whole magical world he evoked with his superb writings.

I often wonder what really matters when a human being leaves this world�? We are given a few, short years by God that pass quickly, just like the �old people� always said they would. Precious few souls are remembered and most are forgotten. But it is the handful that some refuse to let go, that gives us hope for the gift of life eternal.
