Really enjoyed "Bitch Creek"! I'm a city girl but it made me want to get outdoors.

just finished 'grey ghost' and loved it. My only other foray into bill's work is the joint effort with Phil Craig, I've read all the JW Jackson books. I'll be going back to read all of Bill's now.

My mom gave me a William Tapply book years ago, I loved it and fell in love with Brady Coyne . . . now I go to the library about every 3 weeks and get 2 more Brady Coyne mysteries . . . I'm working on my last one (Out Cold) and can't imagine what I'm going to read next . . I LOVE Brady Coyne . . . you (William Tapply) are a GREAT writter and I look forward to anything you have written. A devoted fan . . .

So, I'm reading "Shadow of Death" and on page 108 BC mentions that he has noticed outhouses often have two or three holes and ponders that pooping might be a "social activity." Alas, that's not the case. The holes are different sizes because in early times one size did not fit all. That remark was funnier than some of the deliberate puns by the soon to be deceased GC.
