Mr. Tapply will forever be my favorite author. He had me "in love" with both Brady Coyne and Stoney Calhoun.

God speed, Bill Tapply. Your books gave me years of entertainment and I still credit you and Brady Coyne for getting me through cancer and chemo. You brightened many a day. You'll be missed.

I recently discovered Mr. Tapply's Brady Coyne novels. I am saddened to learn that this great author recently passed away. I look forward to reading all of his books. I hope the fishing is great in heaven.

I am deeply sadened at the news of Taps passing. I played softball against and with Bill for so many years in Lexington. Watching him play shortstop was a treat. He was a cagy old veteran when we played in the "old man's" league and I immensly enjoyed his company. He was a mentor, an outstanding athelete and a good friend. Unfortunately time and distance pulled us apart. My prayers go with him. Bet he is still hitting the ball to right field.
