Just recently found his "Stoney" series and found that I enjoyed it as much as the C.J.Box "Joe Pickett" series. I am sad to hear of his passing.

I have enjoyed all of the brady Coyne books over the years, and am deeply saddened that there will be no more. A Winter snowstorm, one of Mr Tappleys books infront of a warm fire - heaven.

Just got into the William G Tapply books and am blessed by his works. His spirit shall live on in the hearts of thousands, forever. I love his writings. Thanks William, where ever you are now, near that eternal fishing stream.

So sorry to learn of the death of a great contemporary author. For readers the vacuum cannot be filled. for family - you will miss him every day in small and large moments. I just read 'The Nomination' and can't believe that we have to muster on without this wonderful voice to entertain and challenge us.

Just learned of Mr. Tapply's passing upon reading the jacket cover of his book, "Outwitting Trolls". I loved and have read all his books, including the three he wrote with Philip R. Craig before Mr. Craig also died. His wonderful writings will be missed, his great protagonists, especially Brady Coyne. It will be sad to read his books, Outwitting Trolls and The Nomination knowing they are his last. Hope to start reading his wife's books. My sympathy to Mr. Tapply's family.
