Just finished Grey Ghost. I have learned so much about fly fishing, and fishing in general, from reading your books. Stoney Calhoun is a 'keeper,' and I anxiously await the next Brady Coyne novel. I recommend your books to my friends, who, once they've read one, wish they'd started reading Tapply sooner!

You wrote a lovely tribute to your friend, Phillip R. Craig. I have all his books and have greatly enjoyed both of your collaborations and have put Third Strike on my calendar to purchase. I will miss J.W. and Zee, always a smooth read and fun to watch the family grow and change.

Please forward to James Craig: Yesterday I visited the Brookline, MA Public Library and at a central area, there was a lovely tribute to your Dad. I was surprised and saddened by the news of his passing. I always looked forward to his books and have read each one in succession. Many have probably told you, your Dad - that great local author, became a friend that was never met. He will be missed and fondly remembered. As a matter of connection and understanding, I also lost my Dad due to a quick cancer.
I would like to extend my personal and heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

Loved Gray Ghost, but you mention coffee so often that I had to take frequent breaks to the restroom. Maybe Stoney owned a coffee shop in his past.

I discovered Brady Coyne thru the books you wrote with Phil Craig. I will miss JW and his family very much, but am now looking forward to catching up with the Brady Coyne books. Also looking forward to "Third Strike." You wrote a very nice tribute to Phil.
