I first met Phil Craig through his books and then annually at the Artisans Fair at the Ag Hall. Prior to living on MV he lived in my town and raised his children here. As my children grew, I always introduced them to Mr. Craig the author from "our town." Over my 20 years on Middle Road, I loved reading his books. The fun all started with a car chase through Bettlebung Corner. His humor, love of the island and ability to incorporate all into his writing, will be missed.

I wish your publisher would have more paperbacks. Yes, I know you can buy used hardbacks for cheap prices but I carry my books around with me everywhere and hardbacks don't fit in my purse well. Love all your books. Wish there were more paperbacks.

I first learned of Philip Craig's death when reading the dedication for your latest book and literally gasped. I had no idea he was gone. You are two of my all-time favorite writers. I have read all your books and hope there are many more to come. Thank you for your talent, which was put such enjoyment into my life.
