This old retired Methodist preacher loved the books of Bill Tapply. His writing endures, so it is still possible to walk with him for a spell. He will be long remembered. May his word and work endure.

I am not quite sure how I missed this. I've read all your books, and love your writing. You will be forever missed dear man. I'm sure you are doing all the fishing you want now. My thoughts to your family and I will miss you! :(

I was saddened to hear the news. In 2007 I contacted Bill to attend a work shop but unfortunatly, for me, they were no longer offered. He did, however offer to mentor me to publication but at the time I still had a child in college so put it off till now. I have just located my final Brady Coyne book, have read all, and decided to write. I will miss the possibility of our email communication. To Bill's family "I feal your Pain"

I discovered the joy of reading William Tapply in mid February. I'm down to my last three books and I'm getting depressed knowing there won't be any more. Mr. Tapply, thank you for sharing your talent with us. I feel like I've lost a very good friend. God speed.

I just read of the passing of william and thought it I must just leave this message. I dont actually read myself but my wife was reading one of his books at the time in 2004 when she was tragically killed in a road accident but I coulnt find the book so I e-mail william and he replied telling me which book it was because my wife explained of the places in the book and said she wanted to go there and we were about to do it when she died so after I knew I made a determined effort to read it and then made the visit to bozeman with my son/William tappley as an author rings in my head always may he rest in peace and god bless his soul----Bob Hughes UK
