* Mr. Tapply is finishing up a bird hunting book called UPLAND DAYS. It covers 50 years of bird hunting experiences, telling tales from boyhood to, um, mature adulthood.

* Brady fans rejoice! A 17th Brady Coyne adventure is in the works. This one is called GOLD'S FOOL. Check back in the coming months for a pre-release excerpt.

* With Muscle Memory and Bass Bug Fishing now in stores, Bill is doing more book signings than usual. Check the Personal Appearances page to see where you can find him next.

* What began as a project to learn HTML has become a popular place for fans of Tapply's writing to visit. This website will be undergoing a major redesign in the coming months. More content, better interface, same webmaster. If there are things you'd like to see in the new website, email your comments to the webmaster.

* Remember, Mr. Tapply will respond to every message posted in the guestbook. Why not drop him a line?

* Aspiring mystery writers might benefit from reading The Elements of Mystery Writing. The book has been used by a number of mystery writers in teaching their classes.
